The Lamborghini SC63: A New Era in Racing 

The SC63 is not just another race car; it represents a milestone for Lamborghini Squadra Corse. It's the first Lamborghini hybrid racing car prototype, and it's ready to make its grand debut at the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship (Hypercar class) and at the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship (GTP class). This marks Lamborghini's ascent to the pinnacle of enclosed-wheel motorsport, including a shot at the world's most prestigious endurance competitions like the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans and the grueling 24 hours of Daytona. 

Design that Redefines Aerodynamics 

As is typical of Lamborghini, the SC63 bears distinctive features that are both a work of art and engineering. Its aerodynamic elements, constructed with carbon fiber, including the body, floor, and rear wing, have been rigorously tested in the wind tunnel to ensure optimal performance. Iconic Y-shaped LED headlights not only emphasize the car's silhouette but also provide ideal illumination during nighttime races thanks to advanced laser modules. The livery showcases alternating colors, including the iconic Verde Mantis (green), Nero Noctis (black), Bianco Alpi (white), and Rosso Sangue (red). 

Sculpted to Perfection: A Lamborghini Through and Through 

Mitja Borkert, the head of design at Lamborghini Centro Stile, had a clear directive: "to create a car that is immediately recognizable as [a] Lamborghini." And the SC63 is a testament to the success of that directive. 

Power to Dominate 

The SC63's heart is a competition engine like no other. Under the hood lies a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8, combined with an electric motor that drives the rear axle, serving as the car's power unit. Together, this dynamic duo produces a staggering 671 horsepower, the maximum allowed by the racing league. Iron Lynx and sister team Prema are set to take the SC63 to the track, with one in the Hypercar class for the WEC and another in the GTP class for the North American Endurance Cup IMSA rounds.
